Broadband Access

Do you have trouble getting Broadband?

Our thanks to Fil Wills for getting in contact with Alun Davies, who is interested in hearing from anyone who isn’t able to receive Broadband or has trouble with the service. BT have promised that everyone should be able to have access to this service.

Alun Davies informed Fil that a lot of public money has been spent on the service, and BT has promised to improve the service where there is a need.

Indoor Bowling – cheese & wine launch

Is your aim straight, and your eye true?

We have been successful in getting £950 from the Sports Council Wales and we have bought indoor bowls equipment. Fil Wills has agreed to run the activity and hopefully form a tournament. Join us on Wednesday May 28th at 7 pm for a cheese and wine launch and presentation of the cheque with Steve - Sports Development Officer. Come and have a go, young and the more mature. Entrance £2 Adults - £1.50 Children / Senior Citizens.

Samba Drumming

It is with regret that these sessions have now had to be postponed, as members joining the group have fallen bellow a viable number. We are hoping to get another group interested to practice and perform at the Cae Chwarae Fun day in July. Please phone Ruth on 828575 to register your interest in participating

A number of people have expressed an interest in joining a ‘Tai Chi’ class. Please contact either Maddy Lewis – tel. 828595 or Bryn Walker – tel. 828066, who are organising the activity, and have information.
